Change Management – Taking control of Digital Technology in your Library

Monday 27th June at Marine Institute, Rinville, Oranmore, Galway

Our 2011 Annual Summer Seminar of the Western Regional Section of the Library Association of Ireland addresses three themes:

E-books and E-book technology  Open Access and Institutional Repositories  Managing e-Libraries

Presentations on these themes will be given from the perspective of both Public and Academic Libraries.

The Seminar Programme aims to support members in their Continuing Professional Development

Networking Morning – GMIT Galway & GMIT Castlebar & Yeats Library Sligo IT

The Western Regional Section of the Library Association of Ireland is holding a Networking Morning from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm on Monday 21st March.

The Networking Morning will take place in the GMIT Library (Galway Campus), the GMIT Moore Library (Castlebar Campus) and Yeats Library Sligo IT. Delegates can attend any venue and there will be a video conferencing link connecting the three venues.

The theme of the Networking Morning is Collaboration and Sharing Resources. If you would like to suggest a discussion topic for inclusion in the video conference, please contact the secretary beforehand.
